Mr. Wright the Builder

2nd week of school - August 4-8

Homebase - This week in homebase we will officially begin completing a daily entry for independent reading.  Students are required to follow the correct procedure in getting their reading minutes signed.  Parents please sign each day for your student the number of minutes they have read in the proper place.  They will show you how we do it in 6th grade.

Voluntary Contributions:  There are a few items we use a lot in 6th grade.  Kleenex, baby wipes and bandaids.  If one or more of these fit into your budget be assured they will be used by all the 6th grade students to keep things clean, blow stuffy noses, and take care of boo boos.

FYI- I had a lower back incident this past week and compounded it with a terrible cold and missed school Friday.  Students had Mr. Crump, a great sub, but I really wanted to be there.  I'm resting and getting better and plan on getting back to school Monday, August 4.
